"I am the owner and Lead Designer at Where The Heart Is Designs. I founded this company in 2018 purely out of a passion for all things home design and a joy for helping others. I am a mom of three, I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and I enjoy doing anything creative. I am a 6th generation Texan, so you could say my Lone Star roots run deep. Every day that I wake up doing what I love, I realize how truly blessed I am to have had the countless clients achieve their #homegoals, and to have the opportunity to have built several meaningful relationships along the way.
Here at Where The Heart Is Designs, our team is passionate about bringing our clients' dreams to life; whether that be by styling their space or staging their vacant home for potential homebuyers! I encourage you all to follow along with our journey and take part in our growth. #spoileralert we have big things ahead!"
Hey y’all, I’m Rachel! I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, with a passion for interiors, a love of travel, and a closet full of boots to prove it!
After high school, I pursued a degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology at Texas Tech University, originally planning to go into physical therapy. Somewhere along the way, I found myself way more interested in mood boards than muscle diagrams, and interior design quickly became more than just a hobby.
Outside of work, I’m either planning my next getaway, keeping up with the latest fashion trends, or spending time with my best friends. Whether it’s a weekend trip or a spontaneous night out with the people I love most, I’m all about making timeless memories.
Now, I get to spend my time helping clients create spaces that feel intentional and personal. The opportunity to shape how people experience their spaces really excites me, making every project a fun and rewarding challenge. Getting to do what I love while being part of the Where The Heart Is team has been nothing short of a dream. I am extremely blessed to have these experiences here and look forward to continuing to grow as a designer!
Hi, I’m Courtney Davis. Born & raised in the DFW area! I’ve been married to my best friend for 5 years and we have two daughters! We have a two year old & a one year old. We are huge into family time, playing games, watching movies, and watching sports! (GO YANKEES) yes… I’m from TX but love me some Yankee baseball!
I attended Weatherford College for two years with a full ride, playing softball! After attending Weatherford College, I got my bachelors degree at Tarleton State University with my education/business degree! I taught pre-k for a while before we had our girls and ever since I’ve been a SAHM. Fun Fact: While being a teacher, I had my own clothing business, called PinkImpressions boutique!
I have always loved the clothing industry and learned so much on the marketing/business side of it. I have always loved home staging and I’m so thankful to be the administrative assistant for Where The Heart Is. I love how much we work together as a team and how we always so support each other! We are one BIG family!
Hi, my name is Lexi! I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and have always been drawn to the arts. I began dance training at the age of five and, after graduating from Arlington Heights High School, received a scholarship to The University of the Arts in Philadelphia where I pursued a BFA in Dance. During my time there I studied a wide range of artistic disciplines which sparked my passion for interior design.
After returning to Fort Worth I reconnected with Savannah and was thrilled to accept my dream role as an interior designer. Outside of work I love being active in my church community, from teaching Sunday school to serving as Arts and Crafts Director at the diocesan summer camp. I also cherish time spent with family and friends, and I am always excited for any opportunity to travel, especially if it involves the beach!
Hello! My name is Vanessa, and I hail from California’s Central Valley, where I grew up in a family deeply rooted in agriculture. Five years ago, I made the move to Fort Worth, Texas, to pursue my education at Texas Christian University; where I’m now a senior majoring in Interior Design with a minor in Architectural Lighting. Go Frogs!
From a young age, I found joy in selecting paint colors,
rearranging furniture, and imagining new plans for my childhood home. It quickly became clear to both my mother and me that interior design was not just a passion, but my calling. When I’m not designing, you’ll likely find me staying active, spending quality time with friends and family, traveling the world, and eating Mexican food with a margarita in hand. Since joining this company, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to grow professionally while learning what it truly takes to transform a house into a home. With our talented and dedicated team, I’m confident we can bring your vision to life and create spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.
Hey y'all! I'm Tyler, a Fort Worth native with a love for interiors, business, and making spaces feel and look their absolute best. I earned my degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Management from Angelo State University, which gave me the perfect balance of business sense and people skills to do what I love every day.
In addition to staging, I also run my own spray tan business, where I've learned that the little details make the biggest difference, whether it's in glowing skin or a perfectly styled living room. I love helping people feel confident, whether they're stepping into a beautifully staged home or getting ready for a big event.
When I'm off the clock, you'll probably find me walking my golden doodle, Finn, shopping with my mom, or driving with the windows down, a dirty Dr. Pepper in hand, with Gracie Abrams on shuffle.
What I love most about home staging is the storytelling: taking a blank space and turning it into something that speaks to someone's future. Through thoughtful styling, cozy touches, and a bit of intuition, I help potential buyers not just see a home, but feel it. Getting to do that alongside a team full of heart and talent makes it all the more special.
Hi, I’m Emma! I’m part of the staging team at Where the Heart Is, and I’m currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Marketing and Management at Wade College, where I’ve been able to combine my eye for style with my love of design.
When I’m not working or studying, you can usually find me going to a Pilates class, thrift shopping, hanging out with friends, or exploring new coffee shops around town. I also love to style outfits for both my friends and myself. I enjoy spending my free time doing things that keep me creative and active.
What I enjoy most about staging is the creativity it inspires. I love taking an empty space and transforming it into a warm, inviting environment that feels like home. For me, staging is about crafting spaces that connect with people and make them feel instantly at ease.
My name is T’Arieas Woods (T. Woods), and I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, where I still proudly call home. I grew up with one older brother and two younger sisters, and family has always been an important part of my life.
Outside of work, I enjoy riding bulls and horses, going to rodeos, hitting the gym, gaming, watching anime, and spending time with my loved ones. The Western lifestyle has shaped so much of who I am, and I carry that same spirit of grit and passion into everything I do.
I’m deeply passionate about helping people fall in love with the spaces around them and take pride in bringing energy, creativity, and hard work to every project. What I value most is being part of a great team, collaborating to create environments that are both meaningful and inspiring.
Hey, I’m Jaye! I’ve been with Where The Heart Is Designs for almost a year now, and I’ve really grown into my role here. I love being part of a team that helps transform spaces, and I take pride in working hard and making sure our clients are taken care of.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me at the rodeo, hanging out with my son, or spending time with my family. Around here, I’m known as the guy who keeps things light, I always say, “I’ll tell you a joke but never a lie.”
At the end of the day, I love what I do. It’s not just moving furniture, it’s helping people feel at home, while keeping everyone smiling along the way.
